It is singed by Billy Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin and Melissa Auf der Maur (former Hole bass guitarist) It was an all star line up after the departure of Darcy. This was in support of Machina/The Machines of God the fifth studio album from the Pumpkins and it marked the return of drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. And this is the photographic work of renowned french fashion photographer and music video director Jean-Baptiste Mondino a regular Rolling Stone contributor. He has also directed music videos for Madonna, David Bowie, Sting, Björk, Don Henley among others. I met the band during an album signing at Sam Goody in the West Ville in NYC back in 2000. Anyone remember Sam Goody? This is professionally framed with the magazine laying loosely in the frame – no glue or tape is being used, so the magazine itself is still in good condition should you’d want to reframe or remove it. The frame measures 24.25″ wide by 16.5″ in height. Take a look at the photos for more detail. The black frame is 1.25″ thick, the white matte board is 1″ thick and the depth is. Scarce second issue of BIG BEAT, which was a classic 1960’s music magazine, albeit with a tiny circulation. Issue No 2 features. Kramer is live on the cover and pictured inside. 5 pages of Gerry and The Pacemakers including a full colour poster. Very rare Rolling Stones portrait; 3 pages, 3 different group portraits two on the streets and one in the studio. The Beatles in Sweden October 1963. Rare backstage images just after their Swedish tour! 7 brilliant pages including a wonderful double page colour poster image of the band with flowers on the bottom of the stairs as they got off the plane in Sweden. 5 pages of ELVIS! He is filming and on set and behind the scenes including a full page colour poster from’Love in Las Vegas’. There is some great behind the scenes stories of The Colonel his manager stopping photographers form shooting with Elvis. Also featured inside, all with photographs. The Searchers 3 pages. Freddie and the Dreamers. The Big Three 2 pages. Heinz / The Tornadoes ex. Brian Poole and the Tremoloes 3 pages. Cliff Richard 5 pages including a full cover poster on the back page. 38 pages stuffed with classic 1960s bands. 25 x 34 cm oversized magazine between A4 & A3.
