1974 Rolling Stone Magazines – 25 issues. Every issue from 1974. All issues are in Very Good to Excellent condition. These magazines are all in Very Good to Excellent condition. Some issues have browning or faint brown spots in one or two of the margins. There may be minor fraying, or 1/4 tears along some edges, but most are sharp. #162 and #168 are the only issues with major flaws – on #162 w/ the illustration of Uncle Sam, the upper 6 of the margin is broken. On issue #169 there is a 1 1/2″ x 1/2″ area of damage on the left side of the cover that impinges on Richard Nixon’s face. Otherwise, all issues are complete with no tears and no missing pages. Note: The flaws mentioned above are the only serious flaws that I could find. See the final close-up photos. Each issue is in an archival plastic bag. They have been carefully stored that way. For the past 25+ years. Most of these issues have a mailing label on the front cover to Cactus Patch Soup. Cactus Patch Soup was J. Ean Colon’s hip clothing shop in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. Jean made clothing for The Jefferson Airplane and was featured in issue #12. Baron Wolman, the RS photographer, hooked her up with a subscription. I bought this collection directly from Jean in the late 90’s. I replaced a few issues because they had more serious damage.
