This is an ultra rare ADVANCE ROUGH COPY ONLY stamped lightly on the cover, for press use in advance of publication. Very special and even rarer than standard editions. Often these would have entirely different content as features were sometimes changed after feedback from the editor and / or advertisers! There is a great 2 page Rolling Stones feature inside about their debut LP and it includes an interview with Andrew Loog Oldham, still only 20, about recording with The Stones. Classic with photographs of the band recording too. 1 extra Stones page of them in a full colour poster performing on TV. 4 pages of The Beatles including a full page colour image of Ringo having a drink and a cigarette backstage. One of the pages shows a Timex watch ad for’Timex at the Cavern’! 3 page ELVIS PRESLEY Hollywood exclusive with Yvonne Craig & Elvis. The Searchers 4 pages including a double page colour centerfold poster. Featured inside all with exclusive photographs. Full page colour poster of The Four Pennies. Cliff Richard 1 page. Wayne Fontana 1 page. The Snobs 1 page. The Fortunes and The Gamblers both share a page. Billy J Kramer 3 pages including a full page colour poster of Billy & The Dakotas. The AMERICAN SCENE includes Mary Wells, The Impressions, Terry Stafford, The 4 Seasons & Major Lance. There is also a great portrait of Dionne Warwick with more photos of Roy Orbison, Jan and Dean & Betty Everett. Freddie and The Dreamers 3 pages including a full page poster. Full page Cilla Black colour poster. Little Loving Boys 1 page. The Fourmost 2 pages including a colour poster. And finally Manfred Mann a 3 page spread including a full page colour poster on the back of the magazine. 40 pages stuffed with classic 1960s bands! 25 x 34 cm oversized magazine between A4 & A3.
