ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE – the rare first British edition from June 14th, 1969. The US edition of this date has Chuck Berry on the cover. Pete Townsend of The Who. This issue dated 14/7/69 also features Roy Harper, Peter Green, Chuck Berry.. This first British issue is even scarcer as it comes with the free Tommy poster by The Who still intact and unused! Also in this debut UK issue. Tragedy on BERKELEY campus in America. BOB DYLAN and JOHNNY CASH. GRATEFUL DEAD full page advert. HUMBLE PIE full page ad. JEAN-LUC GODARD 4 page interview and photo feature. 100% original (we don’t deal in reprints) late 60s vintage issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Excellent condition with one printing error mark to the cover. Perfect inside (see photos). These Rolling Stones are printed on light newspaper and can be fragile. Natural yellowing and light normal foxing from age. The photographs you see are from the actual item that you will receive (we don’t use stock images). Rolling Stones were folded on the newsstand, after all these years it is still folded so we will post it like that. It opens out to an A3 tabloid size format. We are happy to combine orders and pass on the savings to you.
I’m helping a friend sell some interesting pieces from his Art/Picture Framing shop. This is a poster of a Rolling Stone Magazine cover featuring Bob Dylan from January 15th 1976. This poster is an original that was included in the January magazine from 1976 as was common for the time. The frame is metal with quality glass with measurements included in the photos.
