Mint : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. Fair : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor : The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. THE ROLLING STONES, BEGGARS BANQUET, MONO DECCA RECORDS, U. K ISSUE 6A 2A MATRIX. CAT NUMBERS, LK 4955. Play tested on a Linn Sondek turntable, it plays through with excellent sound quality, vinyl has no scratches or marks, no skips or jumps, a nice lightly played copy, an extremely light hairline mark is all that prevents this from being near mint grade, does not cause noise, plays with excellent audio throughout. Sleeve/cover, VG+ no writing, no split seams, ware to spine, see photo. Items are visually graded.

LTD” on Side 2 and “MADE IN ENGLAND on side 1. Release with 65/66 sleeve and labels but pressed in 1968/69. The record has a couple of non finger feel marks but is bright. Sleeve shows wear around the edge with a lifting of the laminate but look. First released in january 1965. In mid 1965 “blind man” text was censored. Before the censored cover was printed, a paper sheet was pasted on back cover (see close up images) with “blind man” text removed. There is no printer credit, only “Printed in England”. This release have”unboxed” decca Logo on label. LTD” on Side 1 and “MADE IN ENGLAND on side 2.

Differs from The Rolling Stones – Out Of Our Heads on the cover back: track A6: “I’m Alright (First pressing version) instead of : “I’m All Right (later). Export version: manufactured in England for distribution in Europe. First cat# on spine, sevond on back cover, third on label. Label design and matrix run outs different comparing other versions. According to Stones on Decca this label is version 3. Matrix Numbers upside down text, above main cat# on labels, are: Side One ARL. 6791, Side Two ARL. They are between brackets (different from The Rolling Stones – Out Of Our Heads). Labels and sleeve as pictured. 1-A/1-A matrix run off. Some clear tape on side 1 label – text underneath still visible. Previous owner’s surname written in biro on side 1 label. Side 2 label is clean. Vinyl just about VG+. Vinyl has been pro-cleaned. Previous owner’s name written at top edge on back of sleeve. Sleeve looks solid from the front and spine is intact. Sleeve has some wear to the back and writing at the top edge.
