Epoxy Resin Floor Paint 1L -2.5L – 5L. Our hard wearing, low odour Epoxy floor paint is easy to apply using a brush, roller or spray. It is trusted by professionals and used in a range of commercial and domestic applications. A two coat application of non-toxic epoxy floor paint. Price includes VAT at 20%. Non toxic and eco sound. Hard wearing and durable. Available in 1, 2.5 & 5 litres. Easy to apply using brush, roller or spray. For application in areas where solvent based paint systems are unsuitable. As a high durability coating for all floor areas such as warehouses, workshops, garages, showrooms etc. Solvent free making ideal for use in hospitals, kitchens and areas of food preparation. Oil and grease resistant therefore ideal for garage floors etc. Chemical resistant therefore ideal in areas of food manufacture and storage. Dairies, Grain Silos, Breweries, Abattoirs & Fisheries. Touch Dry – 4-6 hours. Initial Cure – 24 Hours. Full Cure 5 – 7 days dependent upon temperature. The lower the temperature the longer the cure. 1 litre will cover approximately between 5 – 7 metres. Store in original containers. Shelf life of 12 months. Tools used can be cleaned in cold water provided product has not been allowed to dry. A two part product which when mixed gives 1 litre, 2.5 litres or 5 litres. Colours – Grey & Red. Other colours available on request. Store in a sealed container between +5°C and +30°C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Preparation, Mixing and Application. Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from all dust and loose flaking materials and all oil and grease must be removed. Hard, smooth chemically treated floors must be etched or mechanically abraded prior to application to ensure a sound key. New concrete must be fully through-dry i. Allow 1 month per inch of concrete laid. A two part product-empty the entire contents of Pack B into Pack A and mix together thoroughly until a uniform colour is obtained without streaks. Mix either by use of a slow speed drill, paddle or by hand. If by hand wear protective gloves and keep damp. The second coat should be applied as soon as the first is touch dry. It is important to apply the second coat within this time frame to ensure a good chemical bond between coats. Slip resistance can be obtained by adding a fine or medium grade ant-slip aggregate, scattered over the first wet coat. Allow to dry, brush away loose particles then apply second coat of paint.
